Hello, I’m Damien! I’m an independent consultant and lifelong learner. I’m driven by caffeine and a constant hunt for the perfect note-taking app.

My journey for growth began in 2010, fueled by a beat-up laptop and heaps of delusion. I went from designing made-up brands in PowerPoint to whipping up actual designs and eventually (4 years later) leading growth initiatives at uni. My first growth hacking (built on sheer willpower and zero budget) resulted in a fun disaster – we sold out a venue that wasn’t quite sold out ready.

I love curating knowledge. Always on the hunt for (mostly free) courses and piecing together lessons. I turn what I learn into bite-sized guides and gameplans, and share them to my friends unsolicited. They also hit me up if they are curious about anything, and chances are, I’ve got a resource stashed away somewhere!

My ultimate goal is to cultivate a thriving (and hopefully moderately productive) garden in the countryside, overflowing with questionable vegetables and native trees. There, I’ll perfect the art of the mediocre tiramisu, and enjoy the fruits of my potted dwarf carabao mango tree.
